Mannavan Shola or Mannavan Chola is the largest shola forest patch in KeralaSholas are the local name for patches of stunted tropical montane forest found in valleys amid rolling grassland in the higher montane regions of South India. This is a 14 km² of unique ecosystem facing devastation. The vegetation, including many rare and endemic flora and species, are part of Marayur’s great natural wealth. This is one of Kerala’s unique and delicate high altitude moist-rain forest ecosystem, located at 2100 meters from the mean sea level. This region is filled with many rare and common species of animals, birds and plants.

Mannavan Chola is a small Village/hamlet in Devikulam Taluk in Idukki District of Kerala State, India. It comes under Kanthalloor Panchayath. It belongs to Central Kerala Division.
